FAQs

Our services

We receive private prescriptions from clinicians and deliver prescribed medication directly to patients, conveniently, safely and reliably.

Who are we

We’re a private GPhC-registered pharmacy based on Wimpole Street, London. Working directly with private clinicians. We receive e-Prescriptions and hand deliver medication to patients - reliably, discreetly and without stress.

Our registration details

Pharmacierge is fully registered with the GPhC. You can find our details here:

Registering as a patient

We don’t offer a patient registration process. If you’d like your prescription to be sent to Pharmacierge, please ask your private clinician to send it directly to us.

How we will contact you

Once you’ve consented for your clinician to send prescriptions to us, we’ll contact you using the details they provide - usually by phone, SMS, and/or email. If you have specific contact preferences, please let our team know.

Speaking with a Pharmacist

Our friendly Pharmacists, Technicians and Support Team are always happy to help.
You can send us a message, and one of our Pharmacists or Pharmacy Technicians will respond to your query. Alternatively, you can call us on 0207 631 1269 during opening hours.

I have a private paper prescription – can you dispense it?

Yes. If you have a physical prescription signed in ink, please post it to us at our Wimpole Street pharmacy, including a cover note with your contact details. Once received, we’ll confirm any relevant details and, if appropriate, arrange payment and delivery. Please note we cannot accept PDF or emailed prescriptions directly from patients.

I’m expecting a prescription – what should I do?

There’s no need to contact us unless we’ve requested additional information.
Once your clinician sends your prescription, we’ll process, price and contact you by phone, SMS or email for payment and delivery details. After payment, we’ll arrange delivery - so you can sit back and relax.

How do I order a repeat prescription?

If your clinician has authorised repeats, you can email to request your repeat. We don’t issue reminders, so we recommend contacting us at least 3-5 working days before your next supply is due to ensure timely delivery.

Can you send my prescription to a local pharmacy

We cannot transfer your prescription to another pharmacy. If you’d prefer your prescription to be dispensed elsewhere, please let your prescriber know during your consultation. They can send it directly to your chosen pharmacy.

What should I do if I need medication urgently?

We do our best to prioritise urgent prescriptions, but as a distance selling pharmacy, we are not an emergency service. Where our delivery or opening times do not suit, and you require medication urgently, we recommend:

    • Visiting your local pharmacy, which may provide an Emergency Supply
    • Calling NHS 111 for advice or visiting their website to locate an emergency prescription service
    • Calling 999 in a medical emergency (life-threatening situations only)
    • Visiting your nearest walk-in centre

I’ve received a payment link – what is this for?

We receive private prescriptions from clinicians for dispensing and delivery to you. You’ve therefore received a secure link to complete payment for your prescribed medication. If you’d like to discuss your medication, please email or call us on 0207 631 1269.

How much will my prescription cost?

Prices for private prescriptions vary depending on the medication prescribed. All our medicines are competitively priced - particularly when compared to pharmacies that don’t provide a private delivery service.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay, via our secure online payment portal. If collecting your medication from our pharmacy directly we are able to accept all major credit and debit cards.

Why am I being asked to pay if I have an NHS exemption?

Your clinician has issued a private (non-NHS) prescription, which isn’t eligible for NHS exemptions. Costs will vary depending on the medicine type and quantity prescribed.

How do I get an insurance receipt?

If you require an insurance receipt, please request one in the comments box after payment.
Alternatively, you can send us a message, quoting your order number, and we’ll email the receipt to you.

Can I get a quote for my medication?

To make sure a quote is accurate we require a written prescription or a copy of a written prescription from your clinician.

How will my medication be delivered?

All medication is hand-delivered by our trusted couriers to your nominated address.
For security reasons, packages are not left ‘safe’ or with neighbours. Deliveries must be received, in person, by an adult (aged 16 or over).

Can you deliver refrigerated medication?

Yes. We deliver temperature-sensitive medication in specialist packaging across London and nationally. Refrigerated deliveries, made outside London postcodes, require bespoke handling and therefore carry an additional fee.

Can you deliver controlled medication?

Yes. Controlled medicines can usually be delivered as part of our standard (free) UK service.
As these require specific prescription handling, please allow extra time for your clinician to organise them with us.

Can I collect my medicine in person?

While our service is designed for convenient delivery, collection is available – please notify our team if you intend to collect. We’ll notify you when the order is ready. Collections during office hours are from: Pharmacierge, 43A Wimpole Street, London W1G 8AQ

How can I raise a concern or complaint?

We never wish for a patient to experience dissatisfaction. If something hasn’t met your expectations, please contact us on 0207 631 1269 or message us - we’ll do everything possible to resolve it swiftly.

Environment & Sustainability

We’re continually working to make our service more sustainable - from recyclable packaging to eco-efficient delivery methods.
