Printing Controlled Drug Prescriptions

Written by The Pharmacierge Team | 22 January 2026

1. Adjust Your WebPrescribe Printing Settings
If this is your first time printing, click the cog icon in the top right of the WebPrescribe home page to access your settings.  Print settings are in the Prescribing tab.

To enable printing as the default option, select Always Print to FP10PCD.

Choose your default form type:

  • FP10PCDNC – Personalised form with prescriber details and
    your CD Pin pre-printed.
  • FP10PCDSS – Non-personalised blank form with blank white half.

If using FP10PCDSS, ensure the clinic name and address are saved in WebPrescribe before printing.

Confirm your Individual Private Prescriber CD PIN.  Once you have confirmed your settings, return to the home page to create a New Prescription.

2. Write Your Prescription
Select the controlled drug you would like to prescribe.  If you are issuing CD and non-CD medications in the same prescribing step, only the controlled drug will be printed on the FP10PCD.  Non-CD medications are sent digitally to the pharmacy as normal.

3. Review and Authorise
Review the form on the left side of the page, as this is the information that will be printed onto the FP10PCD prescription form.
Before you authorise as usual, tick the
Print FP10PCD button.

4. Print on to Official FP10PCD Stationery
Select Print FP10PCD to print directly on to official FP10PCD stationery.  Standard A4 blank paper will not be accepted by the pharmacy.

Before printing:

  • Use your printer's default settings, with the paper size set to A4.

    • Some FP10PCD forms are smaller than A4, but this setting ensures correct alignment.
  • Place the FP10PCD form securely in the tray:
    • Personalised forms (FP10PCDNC):
      • Place the form face down, facing away from you.  Centre it in the tray and adjust the width guides so it sits firmly in place.
    • Non-personalised forms (FP10PCDSS):
      • Ensure your clinic name and address are up to date in WebPrescribe.  Do not remove the white half before printing. Place the form face down with the white half on the right.
  • Select Print FP10PCD

Pharmacierge does not provide support for physical printer hardware.

5. Review and sign the printed form
A wet-ink signature in indelible ink on the printed FP10PCD is still required.
